Smita started her journey as a counsellor in L&T Group before founding “Drishti” along with her good friend Jyoti. She has over 30+ years’ experience in the social sector. At Drishti HR, Smita provides her leadership to the overall operations and develops the many to many connections that symbolizes the organization’s approach.
Jyoti worked for more than a decade at a counselling centre and an orphanage before joining the L&T counselling department. Smita joined her there and together they developed the idea of cementing their friendship by creating Drishti HR. With over 40+ years’ experience Jyoti has been instrumental in setting up the philosophical approach and practices of the organization. She has been reducing her operational role since 2019, but continues to be like the teacher who shows her students where to look but not telling them what to see.
Nikunj Mehta is an aspiring philanthropist, aged 37 years and based in Mumbai. He is an investor by profession and brings in his experience with networks.
Vineeth has 17 years’ experience and has over the past 7 years been immersed in the development sector. Since becoming a team member at Drishti, he is trying to develop the organization’s spine and enhance its capacity to serve its stakeholders in achieving their mutual goals. Vineeth is most passionate about bringing about higher levels of equity in society especially in access to quality education and livelihood opportunities.
Sree aspires to imbibe technology in social programs to enhance their scale and impact. He co-founded Mahiti (https://mahiti.org) in 2000. Sree is an Open Source advocate interested in building sustainable technology solutions that support social change.
